GENERAL INFORMATION

Axxis activities are covered for the professional liability insurance by GENERALI ASSURANCES – 7 bd Haussman – 75456 PARIS Cedex 09 FRANCE – by the contract AH-056309 for 4000.00 € et for the financial insurance by the APS (Tourism Solidarity Professional Association) – 15 rue Carnot – 75017 PARIS ;

Information and booking on request by phone, directly in the agency or on the website : www.axxis-tours.com ;
For any quotation request, you will have to fill in a form with the name, address, phone number and the description of the trip

For any booking request, you will have to :

- fill in a form with the name, address, phone number and the description of the trip ;
- give a valid credit card number as a guarantee (otherwise prepayment of every services is requested 15 days prior to departure for transfers and 7 days prior to departure for sightseeing tours)

Credit card numbers are needed only in order to guarantee the settlement of all services which you will have to do directly on the day of departure or in advance. The credit card will be charged in case of a no-show, out limits cancellation, no settlement of all services or on direct request from the guest ;
You can pay in cash, check (settlement in the vehicle or in agency) and credit card (settlement in agency or remote settlement) ;
Rates (all taxes included) are for a one-way trip without extra stop or pick-up (only those decided by the driver)

Collective shuttle :The price of the seat is the one given at booking. Other travellers pick-ups may be possible without any rate modification. The pick-up schedule on your departure or arrival might change according to other pick-ups ;

Private shuttle : The price of the seat is the one given at booking and the shuttle is booked only for you without other traveller ;

The rate you will have to pay is the one given at booking or on the quotation form. Any change requested by the guest or due to circumstances beyond our control will change the rate given ;
Pick-ups are free in a 20 km area around the city centre (Tours & Orleans) and 10 km for Blois ;
The extra kilometre added in case of off-limits pick-ups or package overrun is charged 0.75 € /km ;
In case of extra stops or pick-ups on request, we will make a free quotation. If those changes happen during the trip, an extra fee might be added to the rate given at booking and will have to be settled directly on spot ;
Extra charges for nights, Sunday or national holiday* : 15.00 € (*may 1st : 100.00 €) ;
Pets extra fee : 8.00 € ;
Rates include one luggage (bag or suitcase) and one hand bag by person ;
Extra luggage fee : 2.00 € / item ;
Bicycle or bulky item extra fee : 8.00 € / item (only in case of people travelling with those items. In case of merchandise transportation or delivery, we will make a customized quotation) ;
Unless we have a mutual agreement, we are not responsible for any item left in the vehicle. Travellers assume the entire responsibility for the content and packaging of their luggage ;
You may rent the vehicle without a driver. In this case, you will have to give a copy of your driver license and a valid credit card number ;
We decline any responsibility as for all problems due to :
. flights or connections cancelled, postponed or missed ;
. traffic conditions (strikes, traffic jam, deflection, accidents, public events, public works…) ;
. weather conditions (which will cause speeding decrease or stop) ;
. breakdown or accident on the vehicle ;
. travellers tardiness ;
Our responsibility insures injuries and physical damages on travellers as soon as they get in and until they get out of the vehicle except those occurring by their own fault ;
Any damage on the vehicle (inside or outside) due to the travellers’ behaviour will be charged to them.
In accordance to decrees n° 92-478 from may 29th 1992 and n° 2006-1386 from November 15th 2006, smoking is not allowed in the vehicle ;
In accordance to the free house code’s disposals, alcoholised beverages cannot be drunk in the vehicle ;
In accordance to the traffic law, every traveller will have to fasten its seat belt at each place of the vehicle during the whole trip ;

Cancellation rules : 

Cancellation fees might be requested depending on the cancellation day :
. for transfers, within 1 week prior to departure day, 50% of all services will be charged ;
. for transfers, within 24 hours prior to departure day, 100% of all services will be charged ;
. for sightseeing tours, within 24 hours prior to departure day, 100% of all services will be charged ;
. In case of a no-show, 100% all services will be charged

Specific information : 

the gas extra charge applies to every rates requesting a vehicle use ;
the gas extra charge depends on the kind of vehicle used, the distance driven and the price of one litre of diesel on a 1.00 € per litre basis ;
the gas extra charge applies as soon as the price of one litre of diesel exceeds 1.00 € and will be added for every 
15% rise of this rate (from 1.00 €/l then from 1.15 €/l, then 1.30 €/l ...) ;
. Axxis assures that prices of the cheapest gas station of Tours will determinate the gas extra charge ;
. Every rate displayed on this website is without gas extra charge. The indicative amount of this charge is available on request ;
We will give you an indicative rate the day of your request or booking only for your information and regarding the gas price on that day ; but this rate may change because of the gas increase and the final confirmed price will be available one month before services booked.
